Hi...I am Dawn! I am the inspired one here at...~No. 9257~...which just so happens to be my house number. =)Every now and again my husband of 23 years, our 2 sons, daughter-in-love and an energetic grandsons join in the fun! Thank heavens for a daughter-in-love who challenges me along the way. She's often my partner in crime! I live with my hubby and our 14 year old teen...oh the joys! =) My creative side began when I was still in elementary school and a friend's mom taught me how to cross-stitch. Oh the memories of sitting in front of the tv watching "Little House on the Prairie" in the afternoons and stitching away...thank you Mrs. Patricia! As a young girl, I was also inspired to become a teacher. Throughout the years I was able to combine the two loves. Now...well, I am just inspired to be a gracious and loving wife, and to raise my youngest son in this crazy world and have some creative fun along the way! I no longer teach in the classroom (and secretly REALLY miss those days sometimes!), but for now I think I am pretty content as a stay-at-home mom, wife and blogger.
