Good morning, friends. Today, I am writing from a beautiful beach home in Pensacola, Florida!
Ahhhh...why can't my day begin like this everyday?!? Maybe because I would take God's beauty for granted and wouldn't appreciate His creations if it was my view everyday...but oh, how nice it is to wake up to this gorgeous view for a week.Last night, the teenage boys and mommas all went crab hunting...it was a very successful hunt!
Since I am not too fond of catching crabs, I looked for seashells instead...and found a few, simple ones.
The sea shells gave me an idea. Instead of buying cheap souvenirs, I try to find something that will be decorative or functional to add to my home to remind me of the places that God has blessed me to visit. So...a sea shell collection it is this year! When we get back home, I will be search for a 40%-50% coupon to Hobby Lobby or Michael's to grab a shadow box to add my collection to. Hoping for it to look something like this...
We also discovered this unusual find that washed up on the beach. Any helpers that can identify this nasty looking creation? Looks like a lung or a piece of raw chicken to me, but it wasn't. Hubby said it's a crustacean of some sort...idk...pretty nasty looking!

See...told you...quite unattractive sight!
Stay tuned for more beach memories from Pensacola...
Inspired,
Dawn
